Team roles & permissions
Give each team member exactly the access they need. When you add someone to your team, you assign them a role — a set of permissions that controls what they can see and do.
Built-in roles
- Admin — runs the whole business and manages the team (billing is view-only).
- Acquisitions — works the seller pipeline: full leads, edits deals & the calendar, texts & calls.
- Dispositions — works the buyers side: full buyers, sends deal blasts, edits deals.
- Transaction Coordinator — runs closings: full contracts, calendar & deals; edits leads & contacts.
- Viewer — read-only access to the CRM. No edits, sends, or settings.
The Owner always has full access, including billing — that role can't be changed.
How permissions work
Every role sets an access level for each part of the app:
- None — hidden entirely (it won't even appear in the sidebar).
- View — can see it, but not change anything.
- Edit — can create and edit.
- Full — can also delete and use power actions.
Roles also have a few action switches for sensitive things: send texts & calls, send deal blasts, import leads, export data, manage billing, and manage the team.
Custom roles
Need something that doesn't fit the presets — say a "Cold Caller" who can work leads and text but nothing else? Go to Settings → Team, click Clone on the closest preset (or New role), give it a name, set each module's level and the action switches, and save. Then assign it to any member from the same page.
Assigning & changing roles
In Settings → Team, each member has a role dropdown — pick a built-in or custom role and it takes effect immediately. Only owners and admins can manage roles.
Team roles are part of the Team plan.
