Finding buyers with Buyer Map

Buyer Map answers one question fast: who are the likely buyers for this deal? Drop any property address and it surfaces nearby property owners who show investor signals — entities (companies) and absentee owners — pulled from public property records, then ranks them so you know who to call first.

These are likely investors, not confirmed buyers — always verify before reaching out.

Installing Buyer Map

Buyer Map is a Marketplace app:

  1. 1Go to Marketplace in the left sidebar.
  2. 2Find Buyer Map and click Install.
  3. 3A new Find Buyers tool appears in your sidebar. You also get free starter credits so you can try skip tracing right away.

Finding likely investors

  1. 1Open Find Buyers.
  2. 2Type a property address and pick a search radius (1, 3, or 5 miles).
  3. 3Click Find buyers.

You'll get an interactive map plus a ranked list of nearby owners who look like investors. Each one shows:

  • A score (0–100) — higher means a better match
  • An Entity badge (owned by a company) or Absentee owner badge (an owner who doesn't live there)
  • Last purchase price and date, distance from your deal, how many nearby properties they own, and their mailing address

The score blends purchase recency, how many nearby properties they own, distance to your deal, property-type match, and price range — so the strongest repeat, nearby investors rise to the top.

Skip tracing for phone & email

Each row has a Skip trace button that looks up the owner's phone numbers and emails on demand.

  • You're charged a small per-match fee only when contact info is foundmisses are free.
  • Numbers on the Do-Not-Call list and known litigators are flagged in red.
  • Always get documented written consent before calling or texting anyone you find here (TCPA). Surfacing a number is not consent to contact it.

The same owner is cached for a while, so re-opening a contact you already traced won't charge you again.

Your skip-trace credits

Skip tracing runs on prepaid credits:

  • Your balance and the per-match price are shown at the top of Find Buyers.
  • Installing the app gives you free starter credits.
  • When you run low, click Add credits to top up (charged to your card on file) and pick a pack. We email you a receipt, and a heads-up when your balance is running low.

Adding investors to your buyer list

Click Add on any row to drop that owner into your Buyers list with a note about where they came from. If you skip-traced them first, their phone and email come along too.

Important: added investors are not opted in to anything — they're public-record contacts. Work them manually and get consent before any outreach; they won't be included in buyer blasts.

Exporting the list

Click Export CSV on the results to download the ranked list (names, addresses, mailing addresses, score, last sale, distance) for offline work or your own outreach process. The export contains the discovery list only — not the skip-traced phone numbers and emails.

Tips

  • Start with a 1-mile radius for a tight, high-relevance list; widen if you need more names.
  • Sort your outreach by score — the top of the list is where your best-fit buyers usually are.
  • Skip trace the few highest-scoring owners first, rather than the whole list, to keep credits focused on the best prospects.
