Managing your email notifications

DispoStack sends email notifications when important things happen in your workspace — a new lead comes in, a task is assigned to you, or an AI usage threshold is reached. You can control exactly which notifications you receive.

Where to find notification settings

Go to Settings in the left sidebar, then scroll down to the Notifications section.

Account notifications (owners and admins only)

Account notifications are workspace-wide settings. When you toggle one off, it disables that type of email for every team member in your workspace.

These are only visible to Owners and Admins.

How to change account notifications

  1. 1Go to Settings → Notifications → Account notifications.
  2. 2Toggle the switch next to any notification.
  3. 3Changes save automatically — no submit button needed.

Turning a notification off at the account level disables it for everyone on the team, including owners.

My notifications (personal preferences)

My notifications are personal to you — changing these settings does not affect your teammates.

These are available to every team member.

"Disabled by platform" notice

Some notifications may show a lock icon and "Disabled by platform — contact support to re-enable." This means a platform administrator has disabled that notification globally. You cannot override it from your workspace settings.

If you believe a notification was disabled in error, contact DispoStack support.

Notifications you cannot change

Some notifications are always sent regardless of your preferences. These include:

  • Confirm signup — email confirmation when a new account is created
  • Reset password — password reset emails
  • Magic link — passwordless sign-in links
  • Change email — confirmation when changing your email address
  • Welcome — sent when a new workspace is created
  • Team invite — sent when a team member is added to your workspace
  • Account suspended / reactivated — sent when a platform admin changes your workspace status

These are security and account integrity emails — they cannot be disabled.

Tips

  • The lead auto-responder sends once per lead only — if a seller submits twice, they receive one email. It uses your company logo and brand color if set.
  • The transaction stage and weekly summary notifications are off by default to avoid noise. Turn them on in Settings if your team wants them.
  • The daily task digest is per-member — each person opts in or out for themselves.
  • If you are getting too many notifications, start with "New website lead" — it fires on every form submission, which can be high-volume for active marketing campaigns.
  • Notifications only fire when the event actually occurs — turning them back on does not re-send any past events.
