Bought a list? Pulled one from the county site? Exported from PropStream? Leads → Import takes the file as-is and turns it into leads — no reformatting spreadsheets first.
What you can upload
- CSV files — any column layout, up to 5,000 rows per file. PropStream
exports, county downloads, skip-trace results, anything.
- PDF lists — most county and courthouse lists are just tables in a PDF;
the importer reads them out for you.
- Excel files — save as CSV first (File → Save As → CSV), then upload.
Keep files under about 4 MB — bigger lists import best split in two.
How the mapping step works
The importer reads your file's column headers and matches them to lead fields automatically — it knows the common layouts (PropStream's owner-name columns, "Situs Address", APN/parcel numbers, and so on). Anything it can't match with confidence gets a suggestion, and every column has a dropdown so you can correct the mapping yourself. A live preview shows exactly what each lead will look like, with counts of how many rows are new, duplicates, or missing too much to import.
Duplicates are caught against the leads you already have — by phone number, by property address, and by parcel number — and skipped by default so re-importing an updated list never doubles your CRM.
Tags, source, and staying compliant
Before you confirm, give the batch a name ("Clark County NOD — July"), a source label, and up to ten tags — every lead from the import carries them, so the list stays findable later.
One important behavior: imported leads are marked cold. People on a purchased or scraped list never asked to hear from you, so texting them from the app is switched off — that's what keeps you on the right side of the TCPA. Call them instead; when someone turns into a real conversation, work the deal like any other lead.
Undo
Every import is a batch with its own Undo. If a list came in wrong — wrong mapping, wrong file — one click removes exactly the leads that import created and nothing else. Recent imports (and their undo buttons) live right on the import page.
